Another Choice, Another Chance is a nonprofit drug and alcohol outpatient prevention and intervention treatment clinic that specializes in the development of individualized comprehensive treatment methods for youth. ACAC's mission is to reduce the incidence and prevalence of substance abuse and its resulting behavioral health problems among youth.
ACAC offices are located in South Sacramento, California. Services are available throughout the county via satellite locations, outreach to middle and high school sites, probation/police departments, medical/health facilities and the Sacramento County Department of Human Assistance. Another Choice, Another Chance was founded in 1994 by Vennessa Brown.
The six year old organization is staffed with a Medical Director, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Director, Certified Drug/Alcohol Counselors, Case Managers, community interns and volunteers.
Another Choice, Another Chance is Certified by the state of California as a Drug and Alcohol Clinic that specializes in substance abuse among youth.
ACAC is approved by the state of California for Medi-Cal fund reimbursement.
ACAC provides direct and indirect comprehensive services that are tailored to meet the specific needs of youth aged 12-23 .
