Vannessa Brown-Lindsey, CEO Founder and Chief Executive Officer is a state certified drug and alcohol counselor and Registered Addiction Specialist, she is a graduate of the Sacramento Regional Foundation's Nonprofit Leadership Raising the Standard Program, She is also a graduate of the National Interagency Counter Drug Institute and the Breining Institute and a member of the Governor's African American Constituent Committee to improve and expand alcohol and drug program services .Mrs. Brown-Lindsey has received awards from the U S Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Agency, and the California National Guard, her work is also noted in the International Who's Who of Professional Management for the year 2000.
Philip D. Fisher, Clinical /Program Director Mr. Fisher has an outstanding academic and professional record of achievement including graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Counseling from the University of San Moritz, London, England and is currently enrolled in the Masters program at Sacramento's Breining Institute Where he is majoring in addictions. Mr. Fisher's career experience includes private clinical drug and alcohol counseling and conducting classes at the Sacramento Safety Center, named Counselor of the Year in 1996 by the National Counsel on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence in Sacramento, CA and has been appointed to serve on the Arden Arcade Neighborhood Accountability Board as well as the Del Paso Housing and Redevelopment Advisory Board .
DR. Barbara J. Smith-Nash, Medical Director A graduate of UC Berkeley and Fresno State Universities, completed her residency at Valley Medical Center, Fresno with more than 23 years as a family practitioner. DR. Smith-Nash is a member of the UC Davis Medical Group, the National medical Association , the Capitol Medical Association, the Sacramento Soroptimists International and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
Naseer Jabril Muhajir, Program Coordinator Mr. Muhajir has earned an Associates of arts Degree from American River College, and a degree in Community Development from Sacramento State University. Mr. Muhajir has been Mentor Coordinator of the SacraMentor Program, Vice chairman of the steering committee for Sacramento E.N.R.I.C.H.E.S. Program and founder of the Probation Reconciliation Opportunity Programs Institute.
Michelle Irish, LCSW, Family Therapist Mrs. Irish received her AA degree for San Francisco City College and her BA from San Francisco State University, earning her Masters from Sacramento State University, She has been a Licensed Clinical Social worker since 1997 and has 13 years experience working with children, Mrs. Irish has worked extensively with the Dual-Diagnosed Mentally Ill as well as victims of crime.
Chaez Boswell, Program Coordinator/Case manager At 18 years of age Mr. Boswell is currently in his third year of full time study at Sacramento state University; Mr. Boswell is pursuing a career in Criminal Justice and Communications/Psychology in preparation for Law School. Mr. Boswell also serves as Youth Counselor, Teen Leader, Case Manager for the Peer Court Alliance and co-facilitates the agency's Project Male program and serves as the in house computer administrator.
